She has collaborated with enforcement agencies, NGOs, and international partners to build capacity and enhance intelligence-led wildlife crime investigations. Arden is a sustainability professional in the Netherlands with a background in sustainable tourism and biodiversity, and a long-standing interest in how tourism can better support nature, animals, and local communities. Her connection to sustainable tourism has been shaped through academic study, internships, and project-based work focused on destination sustainability, certification, and community engagement.
Currently, Arden works on sustainability programs and certification within a global life sciences organization, translating environmental standards into practical action across complex systems. Alongside this, she has a strong interest in animal ethics, informed by research and project work exploring the relationships between tourism, wildlife, and ethical decision-making.
