There is so much that needs to be done in working towards the just treatment of animals used in tourism. Measuring the animal welfare literacy of tourists, developing wildlife tourism assessment tools, funding graduate students, translating academic knowledge for practitioners, working with best practice sanctuaries, writing grants, partnering with postdoctoral students, and providing seed grants for new, cutting-edge research around the world.

Knowledge Translation
We are looking for individuals, particularly those with a graduate degree in tourism, animal studies, or a related discipline, to translate academic research into usable knowledge for the animal-based tourism sector.

Personal Stories
We are always looking for vlogs and other stories about travels to near and far destinations documenting the positive and not so positive ways in which animals are used in tourism.

Partnerships
We need help developing partnerships with industry, NGOs, governments, and academics to help spread the word. Our aim is to build the animal-based tourism space with as many willing collaborators as possible.

There is a great deal taking place around the world when it comes to ethical issues surrounding the use of animals in tourism. We are looking for someone to track these media stories so we can include them on our website.
